My first street photography project ever, the images in this series were my college photo 101 final.

Somebody Walks in LA

When I opened my collective, Nomadic Image in 2007, I polled the patrons about what they wanted to see. Local in Black and White was the response. That survey gave birth to this 75-mile walk across Los Angeles: a journey that would change my life.

LETTER FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER

25 years ago this fall, I took my one and only photography course - Intro to Photography - while a senior at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. The course covered the basics of film photography: camera settings, composition, film processing and printing. It was not enough to teach me the depth and breadth of this art but it was enough to launch me on a creative journey that would take me around the world.

In honor of my love for this artwork and my Silver Anniversary working in film, I am launching my own space in which to share from my portfolio and from the many experiences of my travels. My hope is that this gives me a platform to meet others, to share ideas and to collaborate in the future with other like-minded artists.

Welcome.
