Hollywood by Night

tells a much different story of Hollywood’s transition. Maybe the transition is less about economics and more about lighting. As if the sidewalks are full of vampires afraid of the noonday sun, at night the crowds come out to walk the Boulevard. The restaurants, the theaters, the shopping, all of it draws a crowd that you just don’t see during the day.

Most certainly that has to do with what Hollywood’s purpose is: to entertain. It’s not enough that Hollywood’s studios entertain the world, the rest of the community is well positioned to welcome people looking for some good Brazilian or perhaps some pad Thai or maybe a late-night mani-pedi or some laundry with your matzoh ball soup. Whatever your thing, Hollywood at night probably has it.
